Meet Alex Pygis, Logistics Supervisor at Morrows Logistics, who’s built his career in warehousing for over 20 years. Before joining Morrows in November 2021, Alex spent 11 years in third-party logistics, honing his skills and gaining valuable experience.
Now, at Morrows, he oversees various day-to-day operations, ensuring inbound and outbound goods are appropriately managed, and importantly that the needs of his 30+ customers are met.
“I love that no two days are the same,” Alex says enthusiastically. “It keeps you thinking when there’s something different happening daily.”
From Storeman to Logistics Supervisor: Alex’s Role at Morrows
Starting as a team leader, Alex quickly moved up the ranks, taking charge of key contracts like Downer and managing chemicals. It wasn’t long before he was promoted to Logistics Supervisor, a role that sees him keeping the warehouse running smoothly and efficiently.
Alex’s genuine nature reflects being a great leader and someone people enjoy being around. His friendly and warm demeanor is undoubtedly responsible for building strong relationships within the workplace and with clients.

He attributes his fast rise in the company to being easygoing and understanding with his team, creating a positive work environment.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys mountain biking and kicking the footy with his son.
