Four More Reasons to Choose Morrows Logistics
Morrows Logistics continues its momentum with four brand-new Scania rigids joining the fleet—and they're bringing some serious upgrades with them. The Scania G420 has a 13-litre six-cylinder engine and weighs 500kg less than their V8 counterparts.
"These trucks represent where we're heading as a company," says Peter Gill, Group Logistics Manager.
"We're not just replacing vehicles; we're investing in safer, more fuel efficient fleet”.
What Makes Them Special
The new Scania’s feature Euro 6 emissions technology with enhanced 13 speed gear boxes, significantly reducing environmental impact compared to older models. Scania's latest generation also incorporates advanced safety systems, including enhanced stability control, collision warning, lane change detection warning systems and improved driver visibility and comfort—features that align perfectly with Morrows' safety-first approach.
Purpose-Built for Performance
All four trucks are being fitted out specifically for the transportation of dangerous goods (DGs) and paired with new twin-axle rigid trailers, purpose-built to handle complex loads while maintaining the highest safety standards.
"The twin-axle configuration gives us greater flexibility and load capacity," Peter explains. "Combined with our spill protection system that captures any minor spills ensuring product is not lost to ground and DG segregation features allowing us to deliver multiple DG grades at the one time, these rigs are among the safest on the road."
Strength to Strength
This latest expansion signals Morrows' commitment to both growth and renewal—investing in cutting-edge equipment while maintaining the safety standards that set them apart.
With cleaner emissions, more innovative safety systems, and purpose-built capabilities, Morrows is proving that moving forward doesn't mean compromising on what matters most to their customers, safety, reliability and efficiency.
